Let’s just have a real conversation about something that not many entrepreneurs are speaking about publically.

We see everybody on social media, looking like their lives are all perfect and as if they have everything all together.

There's a real dark side to entrepreneurship that I believe not enough people are talking about. I see hundreds of business owners behind the scenes. Frankly, we have gone through our own tough times as well. Entrepreneurship is tough. It is probably one of the most difficult journeys that you could choose to embark on.

The truth is, in many respects, that getting a job could be a lot easier. You would have a guaranteed paycheck and time off.

The Journey of Entrepreneurship

The journey of entrepreneurship causes you to be very introspective. You have to start really looking at who you are being. How you are showing up to this game of entrepreneurship if you want to be successful and take it to the next level. It does require a lot of focused work on your part.

Business owners behind the scenes experience crushing levels of self-doubt. They even question themselves if they are cut out for this. To manage a team and to take their business to the next level. Self-doubt can often be a part of that journey.

There are high levels of burnouts in business as well. The stress can run crazy.

Many business owners admit to me behind the scenes that they are ready to throw in the towel at times. They are feeling stressed and they believe there’s got to be an easier way!

The other reality and a statistic are that the majority of business actually go out of business. It's a high-risk game when you entered that journey of entrepreneurship.

The Reality of Entrepreneurship

Many business owners will go out of business and they never end up achieving the financial goals that they dreamed of in the first place.

You might be in a place right now. You may already be questioning everything. The results may not be coming in. Everybody else may appear to be more successful than you, and you feel like you're really late to the game.

You are truly not alone! We have to start looking at real solutions to solve this.

A couple of quick tips to solve this:

If you have been in business for a long time, at least 18 months or more, trying to figure things out and they haven't been working out... The chances are you got a couple of things that are just wrong in your business right now.

1. Probably your business model isn't the right one for you. It could be the way you are talking about your offers, how you connect with your ideal clients and how you have those sales conversations. Perhaps it’s just not working for you or it may not be clearly defined.
2. It might also be your mindset right now that has completely gone into the wrong place and that's not going to help you either. There are always two places I start to look at when I'm working with clients. Are their mindset and their psychology aligned with where they want to get to and if it is, have they got the right business model. Is their business model going to get them to their goals and the lifestyle and impact they want to have in business?
